ok hi everyones! Im back on devart ...u probably dont really care cause im not an actual artist but oh well! so who else went to the katsucon last month? I saw a lot of great art at the artists ally too! I even met some famous artists from DA. I think it was great. Well, it was my first con so I coulnt compare it to others. If u went to the Katsukon, then please tell me what you thought of it.

Haha. Actually, I didn't walk around all day like that. I would probably have been stepped on.

But the costume was fun to make, and it took about a month.

where did you get your supplies? i always hunt in thrift shops and anime stores but i still cant find an akatsuki patch

I usually make most of my stuff from stratch. If you decide to paint them on, I'd recommend Tulip Soft Fabric Paint or you could just cut out the designs and sew them onto the jacket with the wide,side-to-side stitch function. Either way I think you'd be fine. You think you are going to Otakon or the next Katsucon?

thx for the advise. I think im gonna stitch on cut outs. Im still trying to find out how to make the huge collar part. I think im just going to make it a hood. Are you going to Otakon?

Hmm....for the high neck piece, there is a pattern put out by Simplicity or McCall's that contains different sorts of cloaks nd one of the cloaks has a cowl neck piece, so maybe you could play with that?

And as for Otakon, I'm trying to go but I'm still not sure. I might be away at that time. However, if I go, I'll be Byakuya Kuchiki.
